Storing and freezing your bread

If you are planning on consuming your Gold Coast Bread product within 2-3 days, the best place to store your bread is at room temperature in its original packaging. Storing bread in the fridge will make it go hard fairly quickly, whilst storing your bread in bread bins may speed up the growth of mould.

If you want your bread to stay fresh for more than a few days, it is best to keep it in the freezer. (Most bread should last for up to four months in the freezer.) A full loaf of bread will take approximately 20 minutes to defrost at room temperature, or 2-3 minutes per slice.
